Toen Kapitan Pattimura in opstand kwam tegen de Nederlandse koloniale indringers, had hij nog nooit van gehoord van &#8220;een Indonesische natie&#8221; of van &#8220;een Indonesische staat.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pattimura stond op om zijn volk te bevrijden van onderdrukking: het Molukse volk. De naam &nbsp;&#8220;Indonesi\u00eb&#8221; kende hij niet.
